Iran Warns of Street War in Tel Aviv If Attacked

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian officials warned on Tuesday that Israel will find itself in war with Iran in Tel Aviv streets if it dares to attack the Islamic Republic.

"Israel is not in the size to launch a military strike on Iran, but if it takes such a foolish action, the Iranian militaries will fight with the Zionist soldiers in Tel Aviv streets and will force them out of the Palestinian soil," member of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Seyed Hossein Naqavi told FNA on Tuesday.

Naqavi also warned that in case Iran comes under a military attack, the battlefield won't be Iran, but "the entire Europe and the US".

"Iranian forces will fight with the enemies with maximum might and power all throughout the European and US soil, if Iran comes under attack," he reiterated.

The lawmaker noted the reports on certain military measures recently adopted by the British government against Iran, and said, "A look at the history reveals that the British regime has been using threat, intimidation, terror and colonialism all throughout the last 500 years. Now a country with such a long record of crimes and colonialist actions should know very well that the Islamic Republic enjoys a high military capability today."

The remarks by the Iranian legislator came after Israel and its allies intensified war rhetoric against Iran in recent weeks.

Israeli President Shimon Peres said in October that an attack on Iran was becoming increasingly more likely, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the parliament (Knesset) a few weeks later in an effort to garner support for a military attack on Iran.

Supported by Defense Minister Ehud Barak and Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, Netanyahu argued that Israel should proceed with efforts to encourage the West to exert more economic and political pressure on Iran.

Meantime, after the US officials last month accused Iran of devising and conducting an assassination plot on the US soil, several Washington officials called for the assassination of Iranian commanders.

During a hearing of the House of Representatives' Homeland Security Committee in late October, a number of US hardliners, including retired US Army General Jack Keane, called on Washington to use covert action against Iran and kill some of its top officials in retaliation for an alleged plot to kill Saudi Arabia's US envoy.

"I'm saying we put our hand around their throat right now in every interest they have," retired Gen. Keane told the hearing.

In reply, Iranian officials said such moves and calls could never intimidate Tehran's military commanders.

Speculation that Israel could bomb Iran first mounted after a big Israeli air drill 3 years ago. In the first week of June 2008, 100 Israeli F-16 and F-15 fighters reportedly took part in an exercise over the eastern Mediterranean and Greece, which was interpreted as a dress rehearsal for a possible attack on Iran's nuclear installations.

Israel and its close ally the United States accuse Iran of seeking a nuclear weapon, while they have never presented any corroborative document to substantiate their allegations. Both Washington and Tel Aviv possess advanced weapons of mass destruction, including nuclear warheads.

Iran vehemently denies the charges, insisting that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes only. Tehran stresses that the country has always pursued a civilian path to provide power to the growing number of Iranian population, whose fossil fuel would eventually run dry.

Iran has warned that it would target Israel and its worldwide interests in case it comes under attack by the Tel Aviv.

The United States has always stressed that military action is a main option for the White House to deter Iran's progress in the field of nuclear technology.

Iran has warned that in case of an attack by either the US or Israel, it will target 32 American bases in the Middle East and close the strategic Strait of Hormoz.

An estimated 40 percent of the world's oil supply passes through the energy lifeline.

Second Exhibition of Capabilities of Aviation Industries in Tehran

Last week second exhibition of "Capabilities (Achievements) of Aviation and Space Industries" was held in Tehran. In comparison to Kish Airshow this exhibition is a smaller and less important exhibition. Many of companies which were present in this exhibition were small private companies and groups. Iranian officials have announced this exhibition is prelude of launching Tehran Airshow next years.
During this exhibition head of aviation and space industries announced launching of "Prototyping and Commercializing Center" in the feild of aerospace technologies. He added 130 companies are member of this union till now and membership of 100 other companies is underway.

Iran's Top N. Official: Bushehr N. Power Plant Moving towards Full Capacity

TEHRAN (FNA)- Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Fereidoun Abbassi announced on Sunday that power generation at the country's first nuclear power plant in the Southern port city of Bushehr is stable and continues with no problem, adding that the plant is moving ahead to reach its full power generation capacity.

"After the initial launch, the power plant joined the national grid and it has since then been stable in generating electricity and has encountered no problem in this regard," Abbassi said in an article released by the official website of the Iranian government on Sunday.

Abbasi further stated that Bushehr is moving on its normal track "to full operation and standard tests are underway".

Bushehr power plant joined the national power grid on September 3 with an initial 60mw power generation capacity, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran announced at the time.

The power plant will gradually reach its utmost power for the generation of 1,000mw of electricity.

The statement also said that the Iranian authorities will continue their tests to ensure that the power plant is in full harmony with the national power grid.

Iran signed a deal with Russia in 1995, according to which the plant was originally scheduled for completion in 1999. However, the project was repeatedly delayed by the Russian side due to the intense pressure exerted on Moscow by the United States and its western allies. Russia finally completed construction of the plant last summer.

On October 26, 2010, Iran started injecting fuel into the core of the Bushehr nuclear power plant in the initial phase of launching the nuclear reactor.

The facility operates under the full supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Iran Displays 2 Documents on US Role in Sponsoring Terrorism
TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's top security official Saeed Jalili released a number of documents detailing US involvement in acts of terror against the Islamic Republic during the November 4th rallies in Tehran on Friday.

Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeed Jalili made the revelations on US terror moves against Iran on Friday during a ceremony marking the takeover anniversary of the US embassy in Tehran by Iranian students in 1979.

The revelations came a day after Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei described the US as the great terrorist in the world.

We possess one hundred pieces of irrefutable evidence that reveal the US role in directing terrorists for conducting acts of terror in Iran and the region, said Ayatollah Khamenei in an address to thousands of Iranian students on Wednesday.

Ayatollah Khamenei added that Iran will bring shame to the US, advocates of terrorism and the so-called defenders of human rights through the publication of the evidence.

In November 1979, less than a year after the victory of the Islamic Revolution that toppled a US-backed monarchy, Iranian university students calling themselves "students following the line of [the late] Imam [Khomeini]" seized the US embassy in Tehran, which they referred to as 'the den of spies.'

The students justified the takeover by insisting that the compound had become a center of espionage that engaged in planning to overthrow the nascent Islamic Republic establishment in Iran.

The students occupying the embassy later published documents proving that the compound was indeed engaged in schemes and measures to overthrow Iran's Islamic system.

Leader: Iran to Release 100 Documents on US Role in Sponsoring Terrorism

TEHRAN (FNA)- Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei on Wednesday announced that Iran will release a hundred corroborative documents substantiating Washington's role in supporting and sponsoring terrorist activities in Iran and the region.

"We have a hundred unbeatable documents on the US role in directing terror and terrorists in Iran and the region," Ayatollah Khamenei said on Wednesday, addressing a large number of Iranian school and university students on the threshold of November the 4 which marks the takeover of the former US embassy in Tehran by Muslim students following the late Imam Khomeini's line in 1979.

"By releasing these documents, we will dishonor the US and those who claim to be the advocates of human rights and campaign against terrorism among the world public opinion," he added.

Ayatollah Khamenei reiterated that Tehran has a full hand with abundant proofs, evidence and documents to prove the terrorist nature of the US.

The remarks by the Iranian Supreme Leader came after the US in a new plot against Iran alleged that Tehran wanted to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to Washington.

On October 11, US officials alleged Iran's Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) plotted to kill the Saudi ambassador to Washington by hiring assassins from a Mexican drug cartel for $1.5 million.

An Iranian-American car salesman accused of involvement in the plot pleaded not guilty in a New York court last week.

Iran has strongly denied involvement, describing the allegations as "baseless scenario".

Tehran said the claim meant to tarnish its "good relations" with Saudi Arabia and also distract the world attention from anti-capitalism protests in the US.
